Judge Karean Reynolds recently donated $5,000 to Rachel Patterson Elementary School on behalf of the Escambia County Commission. The funds will be used to fund various academic initiatives and incentives for student achievement and growth in reading and math. November is National Diabetes Awareness Month. The Atmore Lions Club recently donated much needed diabetic supplies to Rachel Patterson Elementary School. The supplies will be used to provide immediate care to diabetic students when their blood sugar becomes unbalanced.
