In September the Atmore Memorial VFW Auxiliary held a stuffed animal drive to distribute animals to first responder agencies to give children in emergency / traumatic situations. The community responded and Monday, October 16, Auxiliary member Jenny Hutto and Auxiliary President Jackey Odom distributed stuffed animals to the Atmore police and fire departments, Poarch police and fire departments, and Medstar Ambulance.
