St. Andrews hosts Bishop Lowe

St. Andrews Anglican Catholic Church in Atmore hosted a special guest Sunday, September 24. Rev. Fr. Keith D. Bernaducci, Vicar, and Rev. Fr. Dr. Paul A.F. Castellano, Curate, and the congregation welcomed the Rt. Rev. Terry Lowe, Bishop of the New Orleans Diocese, a Diocese of the Anglican Catholic Church.
Rev. Fr. Bernarducci and Rev. Fr. Castellano presented Miss Ollie Murray to Bishop Lowe to be Confirmed. Ollie’s two brothers, Jacob Murray and John Murray, were the acolytes during this service, and Ollie’s father Stephen Murray, who is a Seminarian reading for Holy Orders – assisted Bishop Lowe by reading the Epistle passage, Ephesians 3:13, as well as censing the altar, Holy Scripture, the elements for Holy Communion (Bread and Wine) as well as the clergy and people.
Heather Stone and Randy Adams joined in presenting a duet immediately following Ollie’s Confirmation, singing “Blessed Assurance.”
Bishop Lowe presented his sermon based on “The Cost of Discipleship.”
A luncheon immediately followed.
