Barbara Dianne Monroe
Mrs. Barbara Dianne Monroe, age 77, of Oak Grove, Fla., passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born in Pensacola, Fla. to the late Clifford Shelby and Lydia Anne Rigby Gideons. She was employed with Vanity Fair Corporation until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard L. Monroe; her son, William Randall Rowell and her brother, Charles Edward Gideons, Sr.
Mrs. Monroe is survived by her daughter, Angela Powell (Andrew) Pipkin of Forest Home, Ala.; her two cousins, Margaret Anne Perry and William Lee Rigby, Jr.; her special caretaker niece, Ondrea Gideons and special caretaker, Joseph Feliciano; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren along with her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Oak Grove.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, Ala.

John Robert Coleman
Mr. John Robert Coleman, age 68, of Byrneville, Fla., passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born in Atmore, Ala. to the late John Bob and Mae Lyvonne Davis Coleman. He was a retired machine operator with Stone Container Corporation. He was a lifetime member of Poplar Dell Baptist Church, an avid fisherman, Alabama Football Fan and Nascar Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patricia Coleman Jernigan.
Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Peggy Tabers Coleman of Byrneville; one son, John Bob (Crystal) Coleman of Byrneville; one daughter, Freedom Key (Brian Piechocki) of Atmore, Ala.; three brothers, Glen (Charlene) Coleman of Brewton, Ala., Donald (Margaret) Coleman of Byrneville and Daniel (Becky) Coleman of Milton, Fla.; one sister, Cathy (Milton) Ray of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren, John, Elizabeth, Gabriel and Grayson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Poplar Dell Baptist Church with Bro. Mitch Herring officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Dell Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Key, Brian Piechocki, Glen Coleman, Mike Beals, Jeffery Morris and Eddie Goodwin.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 10, 2023 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Poplar Dell Baptist Church.

Serena R. Jones
Ms. Serena R. Jones, age 61, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Pensacola, Fla. She has resided most of her life in Flomaton, Ala. and was a member of Flomaton United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and loved working in her yard, gardening and tending to her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Jackson Boutwell and mother, Katherine Lewis White.
Ms. Jones is survived by her two daughters, Dee Ann Katherine Ikner and Tiffany (Eric) Rydzowski, all of Flomaton; three sisters, Karen (Paul) Knowles of Flomaton, Debbie Dunn of Lewisville, Tenn. and Gail Pettis, of Brewton, Ala.; two grandchildren, Gabriel Rydzowski, Madlynn Rydzowski and other relatives.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 6 p.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, LLC. with Rev. Waylon Stuckey officiating.

Clara Pearl Stokes
Mrs. Clara Pearl Stokes, age 76, of McDavid, Fla., passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023, in Pensacola, Fla. surrounded by her family. She resided in Pensacola before moving to McDavid in 1978. She attended Cross Point Church in Atmore, Ala. She was a Therapeutic Foster Parent for 20 years. She was employed with the Escambia County Florida School Board for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her sisters. She loved to read, go on cruises, play bingo and go to the casinos. She enjoyed boating, taking care of her home and yard.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Martin Fredrickson, Sr; mother, Marie Brown (Pete) Papour; grandson, Michael Shane Clemmons; two sisters, Lucy Marie Lopez and Mary Martha Guetherman.
Mrs. Stokes is survived by her husband of fifty years, Bennie Earl Stokes of McDavid; one son, Martin Eugene (Ronda) Stokes of Castleberry, Ala.; two daughters, Lisa Marie Kelley of Baton Rouge, La., Kerisa (Terry) Covas of Mobile, Ala.; four brothers, John Martin (Susan) Fredrickson, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; William Edward (Jane) Fredrickson of St. Augustine, Fla., James Ronald (Linda) Fredrickson of Lake Park, Ga., Thomas Joseph Fredrickson of Elberta, Ala.; two sisters, Kathy Ann Bradley, of Dickinson, Texas, Marie Frances Dorr of St. Augustine, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Lisa Madison, Nathan Hunter Clemmons, Victoria Stokes (Jared Key), Cody (Courtney) Stokes, Toryn Kenneth Glisson, Kynsleigh Isabella Covas, Tripp Lionell Covas, nine great-grandchildren, Zakhel Cameron Clemmons, Zamya Jada Clemmons, Zayden Caleb Harrison, Zaria Sade Madison, Dani Nicole Clemmons, Gunner Pemberton, Tucker Stokes, Emberlyn Stokes, Clayton Stokes, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
