Atmore Community Hospital (ACH) announced Rachael Shumaker, CRNP has been added to their medical staff. She has already begun seeing patients at ACH Complete Care.
“Rachael will be joining Dr. Layla Lundquist-Smith at ACH Complete Care. She joins a growing medical office that is focused on providing quality family medicine.” ACH Administrator Brad Lowery said. “Rachael has worked many years with local area hospitals such as West Florida and Sacred Heart.”
Shumaker has been working as a home-based Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Santa Rosa and Escambia County, Fla. Prior to that, she worked as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and as an RN for West Florida Cardiology and as an RN for Sacred Heart Medical Group and West Florida Hospital. She also worked as a high school nursing instructor at Pensacola High School.
Shumaker received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. She also received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from West Florida as well. She received her RN Degree from Pensacola State College.
