Two concerts are coming up that are bound to entertain you and get you in the Christmas spirit.
Band director Hayley Cockrell will conduct the Escambia County High School and Escambia County Middle School bands in their Christmas concert Thursday, December 8, 6 p.m., in the ECHS Hodnette Auditorium.
Admission is free.
Hayley encourages everyone to dress in festive Christmas attire.
The newly formed Atmore Area Youth Choir, under the direction of choir founder and director Conrad Weber, will present a concert Monday, December 12, 7 p.m., in First Baptist Church’s Patterson Chapel (older auditorium to the left of the main sanctuary).
Choir members are 18 young ladies, representing almost all area schools.
Conrad said the concert will feature a mix of Christmas, choral, and gospel music.
Admission is free.
