School supply, toy giveaway set

Special to Atmore News

The Concerned Citizens of Atmore is hosting a back-to-school supply and toy giveaway.
The Toys for Tots COVID-19 Relief toy giveaway is Saturday, August 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Emmanuel’s Faith Center, 710 E. Ridgeley Street, Atmore.
The Concerned Citizens partnered with Toys for Tots, Good360 and Rehovot Distribution Center of Mobile.
Toys, books, games, and school supplies will be given out to approximately 200 children ages 2 to 17 to help support them during these unprecedented times. School supplies will also be given to all school-aged children.
This will be a drive-through event due to Covid-19 regulations. Children must be present inside of the vehicle, and parents must accompany children at Sunday’s event.
Volunteers are also welcome.
If you have any questions, you can contact Sandra Gray at 251-294-0138 or Bishop Wayne Johnson at 251-261-9357.

The Concerned Citizens of Atmore “Unity in the Community” sincerely thanks Rehovot, Good360, and Toys for Tots for allowing them the opportunity to transform lives by providing hope, dignity, and a sense of renewed possibility to individuals, families, and communities impacted by the coronavirus.
