ECHS senior forward earns first-team All-State honors

Escambia County High School senior Sheldon Williams, a 6-8 forward who helped lead the Blue Devils into their first-ever state title game, has been selected as a member of the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s Class 4A All-State first team.
Williams averaged 22.3 points and 12.2 rebounds per game this season.
ECHS sophomore guard Connor McPherson earned honorable mention from the state’s sports writers.
