AFD donates equipment to Nokomis VFD
The City of Atmore and Atmore Fire Department (AFD) Chief Ronald Peebles, right, donated a set of JAWS extrication equipment to Captain Jerry Gehman, left, and Nokomis Fire Department Tuesday, February 1. AFD recently purchased a battery-operated extrication system. Captain Gehman said he is extremely grateful for the continued support and professionalism that the City of Atmore and Atmore Fire Department continue to show to its neighboring departments and communities.
