American Legion Post 90 and VFW Post 7016 hosted candidate Katie Britt at the Legion hall Thursday, December 9. Britt is running for the Senate seat being vacated by US Senator Richard Shelby who is retiring. About 30 people dropped by for the meet and greet including Kevin McKinley, shown with Britt.
The meet and greet was followed by comments in which Britt thanked the men and women in the hall for their service. She also talked about her reasons for running for the Senate seat.
