Chiefs win over Bulldogs

The Northview Chiefs earned a big win Friday night, October 22, against the Marianna Bulldogs. After losing to the Catholic Crusaders the previous week, Northview bounced back with this win. The final score was 21-14.
The Chiefs started off strong with a touchdown from junior Luke Bridges. Brandon Ferguson, sophomore, kicked the extra point for Northview, bringing the score to 7-0.
Right before halftime, junior Jamarkus Jefferson earned another touchdown for Northview. Ferguson earned another good kick for the Chiefs, bringing the score to 14-0. With only seconds left in the first half, Jefferson went in for another touchdown which brought the Chiefs up to 21-0. Before halftime, Marianna was determined to turn up the heat, and they scored a touchdown. The final score of the first half was 21-6.
In the second half, Marianna scored one more touchdown, but Northview’s score remained the same, hence the final score 21-14.
Northview’s current record is 3-4. The Chiefs will be on the road this week, traveling to Panama City to play Bay High. What a week for the Chiefs!
