The Perdido Raiders defeated the Orange Beach Makos 28-14 October 5. The Raiders remain undefeated this season with a current record of 5-0. This victory was of particular note as the Makos are in a competitive division above the Raiders.
Raiders quarterback Hayden Coley completed 88 percent of his passes and threw for total of 210 yards, leading to 3 touchdowns. Two of those passing touchdowns were run in by Roan Branum who racked up 133 yards on receptions, 63 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown.
Brycen Stewart also scored a receiving touchdown with a total of 77 yards gained on receptions. The Makos were repelled time and again by the Raider defense. A host of tackles were landed by Hayden Coley, Asher Catrett, Roan Branum, Mitchell Turberville, and Daniel Hughes.
At the helm of the Raiders were head coach Vincent Coley and assistant coaches Judd Coley, Chad Lambeth, and Josh Overstreet.
