Wind Creek Casino and Hotel recently presented checks totaling $35,000 to J.U. Blacksher High School in Uriah. The funds were divided evenly among the cheerleaders, band, football team, girls and boys basketball teams, volleyball team, and fishing team. Huxford Elementary School PCI check presentation
Wednesday, August 25, the Poarch Creek Indians presented Huxford Elementary School with a donation of $44,000, which will allow the school to purchase, install, and set up a sun sail (rendering below) for their playground to provide shade.
