An Atmore teenager was arrested recently by county sheriff’s investigators after a brief probe into charges he encouraged a toddler to fondle his private parts.
Details are sketchy, but Escambia County Sheriff’s Office records show that Kevin Dalton Jimenez, 18, of a Bama Road address, is charged with one count of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.
Court documents show the sexual contact with the child occurred in July. Jimenez remained in the county jail late Monday (August 9), under a $200,000 bond.
If he were to make bond and be released, the Atmore man is to have no contact with his victim or any child under the age of 16. He will also be considered under house arrest and allowed to leave his residence only to go to school or work, to see his attorney or for medical reasons.
The child was not physically injured in the incident, authorities reported.
