CCOA hosting uniform swap

The Concerned Citizens of Atmore “Unity in the Community” started a school uniform swap shop for parents to donate items no longer of use to their children. Sandra Gray came up with the idea after her own children grew out of items that were in perfectly good condition. CCOA has gathered donated school uniforms throughout the community. Parents are allowed to take what they need for free.
The Uniform Swap Shop is a smart, reliable way to trade your pre-used secondhand uniforms in for the size you need. School uniforms can be the cause of stress for many families at this time of year. The uniforms are free to everyone, some are new, others are slightly used and in good condition. Uniforms are donated to schools and families throughout the year.
The shop will be open for the new school year on Friday, August 6, and Saturday, August 7, each day from noon until 6 p.m., at 313 N. Main Street, Atmore. Bring your children for a perfect fit.
The event will be held outside. Two sets of uniforms will be given to each child.
