The city of Atmore and Pensacola Caring Hearts held a food distribution event Friday, May 21, at Houston Avery Park. The food drive, which distributed 6,000 pounds of groceries, was open to anyone, although its specified purpose was to help families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
