Doretha McDuffie Wright celebrated her 86th birthday April 7 at the home of her daughter.
Mrs. Wright was born in John Station, North Carolina. She married and moved to Alabama at a young age.
She is the mother of the late Nancy Carelock; the late Terry Wright; Larry Wright of Tampa, Fla.; Delois Wilson, Auritha Powers, Allison Chambers and Roger Cooper, of Atmore; and adopted son Marikef Wright of Pensacola.
Helping celebrate her birthday were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
