FEMA centers to close as Hurricane Delta nears coast
With Tropical Storm Delta looming off-shore, FEMA and the Alabama Emergency Management Agency are taking the precautionary safety measure of ceasing operations at all their Mobile Registration Intake Centers.Most centers will close at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, and remain closed until 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, provided the storm’s impacts permit.The following MRICs are affected: Escambia County • ATMORE – Atmore City Hall Complex, 201 E.
