Bertha Mae Knott Knott Ms. Bertha Mae Knott, age 62, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Thomas Hospital, Fairhope, Ala. A native of Atmore, she was a 1976 graduate of Escambia County High School and a faithful member of New Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, the mission board, and attended Sunday school. VFW Auxiliary Announces Kick-Off of Annual Patriotic Art Scholarship Contest
Special to Atmore News Atmore Memorial VFW Auxiliary Post #7016 announces the kick-off of the VFW Auxiliary’s annual Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest. Local students in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to compete for $29,500 in national scholarships. Students must submit an original two- or three-dimensional piece of artwork. Richey and Cassandra Tedder of McCullough announce the birth of their daughter, Londyn Lynn Tedder, born at 1:43 p.m., on October 6, at North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette. Londyn weighed 6.8 pounds and was 18 inches long. Paternal grandparents are Bubba and Cindy Tedder of McCullough. Maternal grandparents are Chuck and Mona Wilson of Atmore.
