Atmore Community Hospital announced that Lydia Bonner, Nurse Practitioner, has joined the staff of the ACH Complete Care. She will begin seeing patients beginning in December 2020.
“We are very happy to have Lydia join Dr. Lundquist-Smith at the ACH Complete Care physician clinic. Her experience will be a huge asset to the clinic and to the Atmore medical community.” Interim Hospital Administrator and Director of Nursing Suzanne McGill said. “We will continue to hire the rest of the nursing and clinical staff and will be ready to see patients in December.”
Bonner received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Troy University, MSN in nursing from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Troy University. Prior to joining the ACH Complete Care, Bonner worked as a nursing instructor for Coastal Alabama Community College, as a flex nurse for Infirmary Health Systems and Monroe County Hospital, as a wellness nurse for the Alabama Department of Public Health and as RN supervisor at Englewood Healthcare Center
A meet and greet is scheduled for December 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Atmore Community Hospital Complete Care Clinic on Laurel Street behind ACH Family Physicians. The public is invited to attend to meet Bonner, Dr. Layla Lundquist-Smith and the rest of the ACH Complete Care staff.
