Stephen “Steve” Craig Hetrick
Mr. Stephen “Steve” Craig Hetrick, age 58, Valparaiso, Fla., passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to Richard D. and Sherry Jenkins Hetrick. He was employed at Eglin Air Force Base as a Cyber Security Administrator Contractor and was an avid fisherman and Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard D. Hetrick.
Mr. Hetrick is survived by his mother, Sherry A. Hetrick of Atmore, Ala.; his wife, Becky Hetrick; his son, Stephen Joe (Ashleigh) Hetrick of Austin, Texas; his brothers, Richard (Alicia) Hetrick of Brewton, Ala., Jeff (Carla) Hetrick of Las Cruces, N.M., Joey (Connie) Hetrick of Bratt, Fla. and Christian (Mollie) Hetrick of Florence, Ala. and his grandchildren, Declan, Lilly and Simon.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.
Pallbearers will be Richard Hetrick, Jeff Hetrick, Joey Hetrick, Christian Hetrick, Brandon Hetrick and Justin Hetrick.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 5, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Taneika Renea Crimbley
Ms. Taneika Renea Crimbley, age 30, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020. She was born to Retha M. Adams and Nathaniel Crimbley, III in Ft. Benning but was raised in Atmore. She was a 2009 graduate of Escambia County High school and completed her education at Fort Valley Community College in Fort Valley, Ga. She was part of Walnut Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Warner Robins, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joe Louis Adams and Nathaniel Crimbley.
Ms. Crimbley is survived by her children, Josiah Rutledge and Tailyn Lawrence, both of Warner Robins; mother and father; grandmothers, Eloise Adams of Freemanville Community and Annette Jones of Pelham, Ga; siblings, Tameika L (Gissur) Helguson of Lizella, Ga., Desiree N. Crimbley of Columbus, Ga. and Nathaniel X. Crimbley of Hartlem, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Daisy (Antonio) Calusell-Pillot of Ocean Springs, Miss., Harry (Diane) Adams of Atmore, Dwayne (Kim) Adams of Warner robins, Bernetta (Anthony) Bond of Albany, Ga., Nannette (Ernest) Harvey of Pelham, Ga., Kristine McClendon and Melette McClendon, both of Pelham, Leo R. (Marilyn) Crimbley and Cornelius W. Thomas of Augusta, Ga.; six nieces and nephews and a host of many close and special friends, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Bernard L. Bryant, presiding and Rev. Gary Bryant, eulogist.

Rickey Rydell Lyons
Mr. Rickey Rydell Lyons, age 57, of Atmore, Ala., passed away Monday, September 7, 2020. He was born to Johnny and Josie Lyons in Atmore, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenny and Lewis Lyons and sister, Sandra Poindexter.
Mr. Lyons is survived by his wife, Tammie Diane Lyons; three daughters, Clarissa (Michael) Prayor of Atlanta, G., Trishcelle (Ray) Willis and Leslie (Tory) Brown, both of Atmore; one son, Rickey (Melissa) Lyons of Atmore’ siblings, Diane (Harry) Adams of Atmore, Shelia (Williams) Hauser of Pensacola, Fla. and Randy Lyons of Atlanta, Ga.; one aunt and one uncle; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at New Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Harold Askew, Pastor and Michael Cosey, Eulogist.

Lawrence Creighton Amerson, Jr.
Mr. Lawrence Creighton Amerson, Jr., age 94, known as L.C. or Ame to his friends and family, passed away July 15, 2020 in Virginia Beach, Va. He was born to Lawrence and Dollie Amerson in Jackson, Ala. The family moved to Bratt, Fla., where he attended school. At the age of 19, he went into the Navy. He served in World War II aboard USS Mugford along with three other ships. During this time, his oldest brother was serving on another ship. He played basketball with the Amphibious Force, US Atlantic Fleet Team. They received several awards and medals. After serving 20 years, he worked for the Norfolk Navy Yard receiving many awards for his service to the group delivering medical supplies and food to the shut-ins.
He loved fishing and enjoyed time with his family especially at the Bratt reunions.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Thelma; his parents, Lawrence and Dollie Amerson; twelve of his siblings and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Mr. Amerson is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; two special friends, Tiny Rigby Bolton and Jenny Rigby and his baby sister, Shirley Amerson Whatley of Bratt, Fla.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel.
