Atmore Postmaster Lester Cogollo takes a sack from a box of lunches prepared August 7 by Freddie Bowen and Amy McGhee of Brickhouse BBQ for local post office staff, in appreciation of the duties they perform in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cogollo said the gesture, common for first responders, was the first he recalled being provided to local postal workers.
