Destiny Worship Center is planning a special event for next Sunday.
According to Dr. Bernard and Lady Felicia Bishop, with COVID-19 many high school and college graduates have missed the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and have not been given the highlight they well deserve.
DWC is hosting Graduate Sunday, May 24, 10 a.m., to give special recognition to ALL high school and college graduates in this community and surrounding areas. The ministry has been doing park and praise services out in the parking lot which gives everyone a safe opportunity to social distance and still have services. This special service also will observe social distancing but give all graduates the opportunity to participate.
Participants are asked to wear their graduation cap and tassel to represent their school or college. Each graduate will receive a certificate of accomplishment from Destiny Worship Center.
Minister Rodney Bright will deliver the commencement speech.
The church is located at 50 W. Sunset Drive, Atmore.
