ACH names Miller patient access manager

Atmore Community Hospital (ACH) announced that Kimberly Miller has been promoted to the position of Patient Access Manager. She joined ACH more than 25 years ago as a financial counselor and has worked in the business office since. Prior to that, Miller graduated from T.R. Miller High School in Brewton.
“Kim has been promoted to the role of Patient Access Manager after many years of service at ACH working, performing and improving registration and patient flow services,” ACH Interim Administrator Suzanne McGill said. “We are very pleased that she has accepted the promotion and we know our patients will continue to receive the same commitment and care.”
Miller will assume the overall management and administrative responsibility for overseeing all functions of the patient access services staff to ensure patient safety and satisfaction as it relates to registration and admission.
Miller will report to Escambia County Health Care Authority Director of Revenue Cycle Stacy Hines.
“Kim is bringing over 25 years of knowledge, expertise, and skill to the registration process.” Hines said. “She officially began her new role March 16, 2020.”
