The Escambia County Blue Devils varsity basketball team saw its season come to end last Wednesday, February 5, with a 65-46 loss to Williamson High School during the Class 4A, Area 1 Tournament at UMS-Wright.
With the loss, ECHS finishes the season with a 12-15 record.
Allen Patterson hit for 11 points to lead the Blue Devils in scoring, edging out Jalen Barnes, who added 10.
Sheldon Williams and Hakeem Johnson scored nine points each. Johnson’s total came from three three-pointers. JaCobey James and Trevon Lambeth had four points each, and Kaiden Arnold scored one point.
After defeating ECHS, Williamson fell 58-55 to UMS-Wright.
