For more than 25 years, BMX Bike teams have performed at thousands of schools to help celebrate Red Ribbon Week, an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October. The team was at local schools last week, including Escambia County Middle School, where Pro BMX rider Tyler Sparr jumped over Escambia Middle School teachers, from left, Marsha Wilson, Leviticus Wilson, Marcia Adams, and Amanda Hybart.
