A hog hunt will take place this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, to benefit Collin Hendry, who was recently diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia.
Each four-man team will pay an entry fee of $150, and all proceeds will go to the youngster’s parents, Stanton and Kelli Miller Hendry, to help defray costs of treatment.
Trophies, prizes and bragging rights will be up for grabs as the team with the biggest two-hog stringer (caught with dogs) will be the winner.
The two-day hunt, which will be held at PCI Hunting Club, 1133 Bell Creek Road, near McCullough, will conclude with a 5 p.m. weigh-in on Sunday.
