Atmore men charged in fatal party shooting
Atmore Police Chief Chuck Brooks reported today that two local men have been arrested in connection with the May 18 shooting that disrupted a private party and left a young Atmore man dead. Charged with one count of murder each are 21-year-old Michael Lashan Weaver Jr. and 22-year-old Michael Bernard Pettway. Both suspects are from Atmore. Arrests made in May party shooting 
Atmore police have arrested two men in connection to the May 18 shooting that left an Atmore man dead and eight other people injured. The shooting took place during a private party at the old middle school.
