William Timothy Burl Thomley
Mr. William Timothy Burl Thomley, age 51, of Perdido, Ala., passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in Mobile, Ala. He was a commercial truck driver most of his life. He was born in Atmore, Ala. to Joseph B. and Betty Weeks Thomley.
Mr. Thomley is survived by his parents; a son, Adam Thomley of Ohio; one brother, Joey (Sherry) Thomley of Perdido, and one sister Donna (Randy) Carpenter; his fiancé, Carla Herring of Perdido; step-children, Aaron Milligan, Kayla Jones; grandchildren, Elianna Thomley, Minnie Dubose, Mya Dubose and his nieces and nephews Adam, Hayley, Donyel, Alex and Danielle.
Funeral services were held at noon Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Splinter Hill Holiness Church in Perdido with Bro. Angelo Thomley and Bro. James Peacock officiating. Burial followed in Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Dewayne Hall, Jamie Garrett, William Frazier, Michael Ledkins, Billy Dean, Christian Black, Adam Thomley and Shawn Amos.
Honorary pallbearers were Gene Jones and Preston Ferrell.
The family received friends Friday, August 23, 2019 from 6 p.m. until service time at noon Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Splinter Hill Holiness Church.

Edna L. Archie
Ms. Edna L. Archie, age 69, of Detroit, Mich., formerly of Atmore, Ala., passed away at her residence Tuesday, August 20, 2019. She was a 1968 graduate of Escambia County Training School. After graduation she relocated to Detroit and was employed with Chrysler Company until her retirement in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob, II and Ida Mae Archie; one sister, Patricia Bolar; three brothers, Edward James Archie, Glen Scott Archie, and Ernest Archie.
Ms. Archie is survived by her daughter, Tongi Archie of Detroit; four brothers, Min. Jacob (Yvonne) Archie, III, Herman Archie, Rev. Denbray (Rev. Jean) Archie, all of Atmore and Clifton Matthews (Dora) Archie of Union Springs, Ala., an aunt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Zion Star AME Zion Church with Rev. Jean Archie, Pastor and Rev. Denbray Archie, eulogist. Interment will be in Lucius Cemetery.

Ernest T. Fields, Jr.
Gunnery Sergeant Ernest T. Fields, Jr. passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 in the Kensington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mobile, Ala. He was born and raised in Stockton, Ala. At age 17 he joined the United States Marine Corp. serving for twenty-two years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Zion Fountain A.M.E. Zion Church.

Vivian Ann Dudley
Evangelist Vivian Ann Dudley passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019. She was born in Frisco City, Ala. to David and Minnie Bell Dudley. She was a 1975 graduate of Frisco City High School. She then enlisted in the United States Army for approximately 3 years with honorable discharge. She favored righteousness and holiness. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Business and Child Care Development at Alabama State University in Mo0ntgomery, Ala. and two more graduate degrees in the state of New York. After moving back to Alabama she was employed as City Clerk for the City of Monroeville, Ala. and later employed as Magistrate for Frisco City, Ala. She joined the Jones Street True Pentecostal Holiness Church in Atmore after visiting the church to celebrate their 38th Anniversary remaining faithful and devoted to God’s word.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Minnie Bell Dudley; two siblings; brother, David Dudley, Jr. and eldest sister, Deaconess Mary Hamilton; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Moore of Jamaica, N.Y.; two brothers, Lorenza Dudley of Frisco City, Ala. and Kenneth Dudley of Mobile, Ala..; one special nephew, Jerome (Sandra) Dudley of Mobile; a special cousin, confidant and mother figure, Ms. Nancy Martin of Frisco City; a very close friend, Mrs. Mary Malone; loving pastor and church family: Prophet Shawn Williams and the entire Jones Street True Pentecostal Holiness Church and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, August 24, 2019 at noon at Jones Street True Pentecostal Holiness Church with Prophet Shawn Williams, Pastor and Eulogist; Bishop Dr. Willie L. Williams, Founder and Presiding Pre-Late;|Reverend Matthew Davis, Presiding. Internment followed at Morning Star Cemetery, Frisco City, Ala.
