Atmore men charged in fatal party shooting
Atmore Police Chief Chuck Brooks reported today that two local men have been arrested in connection with the May 18 shooting that disrupted a private party and left a young Atmore man dead. Charged with one count of murder each are 21-year-old Michael Lashan Weaver Jr. and 22-year-old Michael Bernard Pettway. Both suspects are from Atmore.
