Summit holds open house
Owners of The Summit, Atmore’s newest assisted living facility, held an open house Sunday afternoon, December 16. The event seemed more like a reunion than an open house with old friends exchanging hugs and greetings. Ribbon cutting
The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Astound Physical Therapy on 5th Avenue, Friday, December 14. Chamber board members and Ambassadors, friends and family joined the owners and employees for the occasion. Shown holding the scissors is owner and physical therapist Lena Hardy. At her left is her husband Robert Hardy. They were joined by their children Livia, Lilian, and Lyla.
‘Tis the season
Several members of Christian Family Fellowship Ministries delivered gifts to residents at Atmore Nursing Center Monday, Dec. 17. Gift included fleece throws with residents’ names embroidered on them. County Young Farmers receive award
During the Alabama Farmers Federation’s 97th annual meeting in Montgomery Dec. 3, Escambia County Young Farmers received the County Activity of Excellence Award for raising $3,500 for Pilots of Christ in 2018. Santa’s helpers
Shown are the gifts that were presented last week to the six children who will benefit from this year’s Tedder Auto Repair Christmas for Kids program, including new bicycles for the older ones and a wagon for the youngest.
