County Young Farmers receive award
During the Alabama Farmers Federation’s 97th annual meeting in Montgomery Dec. 3, Escambia County Young Farmers received the County Activity of Excellence Award for raising $3,500 for Pilots of Christ in 2018. For many area residents, the Candlelight Memorial Service at Johnson Quimby Funeral Home has become a tradition during December as candles are lit in memory of loved ones who have passed away. News Staff Report In September, the Escambia County Training School held their 17th annual reunion. The Eagles gathered at Power Pentecostal Holiness Church, pastor Apostle Bruce Armstrong.
