Fifth-grade students at Escambia County Middle School completed their D.A.R.E. course, taught by Escambia County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Weaver.
This program teaches students responsibility and how to assess most any given situation, explore various courses of action, then ultimately choose the most appropriate. Students learn a variety of ways to resolve situations constructively and how to make constructive choices.
Cleo Bolar and Alexandria Brown won the D.A.R.E. Responsible Student Award.
