Over 180 members of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International met in Montgomery at Dalraida Church of Christ on June 1, for chapter officer training.
Mary Beth Lancaster, incoming president of Gamma Omega Chapter in Atmore, joined with the other Beta State chapter presidents to learn about her new position.
She and outgoing chapter President Trachy Miller also participated in a transition ceremony in which Mary Beth was welcomed into her new position.
Nancy Karrick, Immediate Past Beta State President, presented the inspirational thought and directed one of the sessions in the morning.
