A benefit for Atmore resident Jerry Searcy will be held Saturday, March 24, at Boatyard Landing, near Stockton. It will begin at noon and continue throughout the day.
Searcy, who is married to the former Jean Coleman, is battling colon cancer and faces six months of chemotherapy. The fundraiser, at which dinner plates may be purchased for $10 each, will help offset the cost of the treatments.
The event will also include raffles, auctions and drawings, along with the music of Ricky Crook and The Horseshoe Halo Band.
For more information regarding the fundraiser, or to make a donation, contact Linda Sullivan at 251-253-5338 or Jodi Searcy at 251-359-7139.
