Drug arrests – APD task force member involved in unrelated incidents
An Atmore police detective who witnessed a traffic offense that resulted in a drug arrest here last week was also at the forefront of a concentrated task force that a day earlier had interrupted an apparent drug drop-off at Barnett Crossroads. ‘Daring’ rescue
Poarch Creek Fire Department personnel are credited with possibly saving the lives of two Florida residents who were badly injured when the car in which they were passengers went off a bridge over Interstate 65 and plunged into a deep ravine. ECMS receives statewide award
Escambia County Middle School’s fourth-grade students were the guests of honor at a February 2 assembly during which their accomplishments in the study of mathematics were recognized and praised. Semmes man killed in Atmore crash
A Mobile County man lost his life Wednesday, January 31, when the vehicle he was driving left a roadway just outside Atmore and hit a culvert. Alabama State Troopers reported that the fatal, single-vehicle mishap occurred around noon on North 18th Avenue, just east of Atmore.
