Rathsack honored

Each year, the Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary honors a volunteer who epitomizes the spirit and work of the Auxiliary. At the annual banquet held Thursday, July 6, Judy Rathsack, center, was honored by her peers as Volunteer of the Year. At left is Auxiliary President Patsy Brown, at right ACH President Doug Tanner. Myrna Monroe enjoyed working on the flag insert we had in Atmore News Wednesday, June 28. The project was her idea and she embraced it. Lucy Swift was the first to send us a message in appreciation for the flag. Senate forum planned

Registration for swimming/diving lessons is Monday, July 10

Registration for the 3rd and final session of swimming/diving lessons at Tom Byrne Park Pool will be held Monday, July 10, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the pool. Classes will begin on Monday, July 17.
