ECMS students learn scientific method
Ms. Linam’s fifth grade class at Escambia County Middle School participated in a Skittles and M&Ms Probability Experiment. The purpose of this experiment is to introduce the scientific method by having the students hypothesize, count, analyze and conclude which company packs candy more reliably – Skittle or M&Ms. After the experiment the students discussed the results and what caused the results.
