New Beginnings Ministry will host LaVerne and Edith Tripp this Sunday.
LaVerne made his first public singing debut at the age of 2½ and he hasn’t stopped. After singing solo and with several local groups, LaVerne joined the world-famous Blue Ridge Quartet in 1969. During this period of LaVerne’s career, he wrote and recorded three consecutive number-one songs: I Know, That Day Is
Almost Here and After Calvary. For seven years LaVerne sang lead with this group. At the pinnacle of the group’s success, LaVerne surrendered his will and his life to the care of God and launched out to fulfill God’s destiny for his life as an evangelist.
LaVerne and Edith Tripp hosted the Praise the Lord program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
LaVerne just released his 79th full-length recording entitled, Foundation Stones. It is comprised of 15 of LaVerne’s favorite hymns, including Old Rugged Cross, Amazing Grace, Jesus Loves Me as well as 12 others.
LaVerne and Edith travel weekly to churches across America and around the world.

The church is located at 11220 Highway 97, in the Piggly Wiggly Shopping Center.
