Mt. Olive hosting special program
Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church will host a program entitled “Soap-Opera Subjects With Biblical Meaning,” with panel speakers, Friday, March 10, 7:30 p.m. Eva Elouise  Smith-Sprueil, Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, will serve as Mistress of Ceremony. Program Coordinator and Chair is Sis. Barbara Poole Harris. The Rev. Dr. Monroe Tucker, Jr. is pastor of Mt. Olive, located on Pouncey Road in Robinsonville.
Liberty MBC to hold pastor’s anniversary

Coordinators attend national conference
Peer Helper Coordinators from Escambia County attended the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation National Conference for Peer Helpers in February. The Escambia County Children’s Policy Council sponsors Peer Helper programs at each of the area high schools. PHD Realty announces scholarships
PHD Realty announces the creation of the 2017 PHD Realty Determination Scholarship. Two $250 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying seniors who attend a high school in one of the served counties in Northwest Florida or Southwest Alabama. To be eligible, a student must be a graduating senior attending high school in the counties of Monroe, Escambia or Baldwin in Alabama or counties of Escambia or Santa Rosa in Florida.…
