Children in Ms. Nicole Stabler’s first grade class at Perdido Elementary created many unusual Valentines boxes. Students showed off their creativity with designs of everything from traditional Post Office styles to Valentine Owls, guitars, ‘shooting houses, alligators, and Minions.

Students in first grade completed many activities for Valentine’s Day. First-graders were asked to make a Valentine’s Day box at home and surprise their classmates with their creative ideas. They also made cards to exchange with their fellow classmates. What can you turn a Hershey Kisses wrapper into? Ask a first-grader. They turned their wrappers into unique things and made masterpieces on paper. As a follow-up, the students, being inspired with the special day, wrote about what they thought love is.
