Monument bricks available

The VFW and the American Legion have Support Bricks for the walkway and Veteran Bricks for the Atmore Veteran Memorial. Bricks are $100 each and orders need to be received by January 30. Contact Harold Madison at 251-395-3515 or 368-5818 to obtain an order form or for more information.

Arson at the park – AFD fights playground, house, industrial fires

Atmore firefighters got an eclectic mix of calls over a three-day period last week (December 28-30), when they were sent to the site of a deliberately set playground fire at a public park, a blaze that effectively destroyed a local residence, and another fire that disrupted production at a local factory.
