Grover Barnes, a Point Escambia resident, used his garden hose to help transform these small trees into an ice sculpture during the sub-freezing overnight temperatures that lingered locally for three days.

Huxford Elementary’s school-wide spelling bee was held Friday, January 6. The winners will compete in the school district spelling bee Thursday, January 12, 9 a.m., at Flomaton High School.
