Childhood cancer awareness
First Baptist Daycare children helped raise awareness of childhood cancer with a yellow balloon release Monday, September 30. Members of Tracy Hall’s K4 class held signs about the fight against cancer and support for Connor Morgan Hall, who died of cancer at age 16. Donations to Women’s Resource Center
On Sept. 12, members of Knights of Columbus Council 12914 and Annunciation Parish Catholic Women’s group of Monroeville toured the Atmore Women’s Resource Center and discovered the many services offered to individuals and families throughout Escambia and surrounding counties at no charge.
