A 52-year-old Brewton man passed away last week from injuries he suffered in a February 3, single-vehicle motorcycle mishap.
Trooper reports show that the crash occurred at 4:08 p.m. and mortally injured Michael Lynn Kite.
Kite was reportedly riding a 2003 Honda VTX 1800 along Alabama 41, about four miles north of Brewton, when the Honda inexplicably left the roadway and struck an embankment.
The injured cyclist was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, where he died Friday, February 15.
No further details were available from state troopers.
