Local prayers abound on National Day of Prayer

United Bank donates books to ACM students
For the second year in a row, students in a local elementary school received free books, courtesy of United Bank and its partnership with First Book. ECMS students earn Six Flags tickets
Students at Escambia County Middle School recently participated in a reading program sponsored by Six Flags Theme Parks. The program encourages students in kindergarten through sixth grade to read for fun. At ECMS, every fifth- and sixth-grade student who completed six hours of recreational reading and returned their reading log was presented a free admission ticket to Six Flags over Georgia.
