Four students from Atmore were named on The University of Alabama’s honors lists released recently.President’s List – Lukas Albritton, Patrick Byrd. To be named to the President’s List, a student must have an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).Dean’s List – Kenna Alverson, Megan Wilson. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must have an academic record of 3.5 (or above).

Three Atmore students graduated from The University of Alabama a the spring commencement ceremonies at Coleman Coliseum recently.Graduates from Atmore are Parker Reynolds – Master of Accountancy Colin Turberville – Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration Megan Wilson – Bachelor of Arts

The first Market in the Park of the season was held Saturday, June 14, at Heritage Park. Folks shopped produce, potted plants, even cotton candy, and more. Shown, Jennifer Sanders, with watermelon under arm, and her daughter Kacki, at right, make a purchase at the Garcia Farm booth.

The grand opening for the newly renovated and decorated alleyway on North Main was held Saturday, June 14. The alleyway is a project of Main Street Atmore.
