Atmore woman injured in crash
A two-vehicle collision that occurred December 29 at a rural intersection sent an Atmore woman to a local hospital. The crash, between a Nissan Maxima and a Honda Accord, happened around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Jack Springs Road and Woods Road. A win at the buzzer
Escambia Academy hosted the New Year Classic Basketball Tournament December 29 and 30. EA won over Walton High School (Florida) 80-79 when EA’s Fred Flavors made a buzzer-beater 3-point basket. As Atmore’s top fire official, Ron Peebles has for years preached the importance of smoke alarms in minimizing the devastating effects of house fires and helping to save lives.
