ECMS spelling bee winners
Lemon Barlow Escambia County Middle School held its annual schoolwide Spelling Bee, Thursday, January 7. Stan Quimby worked as assistant principal at Escambia County Middle School and he retired from there. When he passed away January 3, some folks decided he should be honored one last time. As Mr. Quimby’s funeral procession passed by on January 6, several educators were in front of the school to pay their respects, and the school sign was changed to show the community’s appreciation.
