Christmas parade!
Thousands lined the streets Saturday evening, December 14, for the annual Christmas parade. This year’s theme was Dr. Seuss. Atmore Community “Who-Spital” (at left) won first place and Poarch Facilities (at right) won the Judges Award for “Oh, The Places You’ll Go.” The Lions Club float won second place and K-9 Kleaners was third.

Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce officials, along with officials of several local business and industrial concerns, a state representative and a county commissioner unveiled Tuesday, December 17, the latest effort at local marketing and workforce development.
